Berlin- Street battles broke out between police and young German workers and unemployed after a May Day march in Berlin. The rioters used petrol bombs, rocks, and bottles.
The police said that at least 14 officers were injured. A number of protesters were also injured, and there some arrests
The violence broke out after angry crowds marched on protest against unemployment, anti-immigrant violence, and sexism. 600,000 marched in the May Day rallies.
